vs. New Signs

Entryway Signs – beautiful, yet challenging

In 2022 our entry signs were vandalized as someone tried to pry the bronze sign off the brick. The result was the sign had to be removed and repaired. We have now enforced each leaf to make it more difficult for theft.

In 2024 a motor vehicle hit one of the entry signs off Grantham Drive. This did structural damage to the brick which was repaired by the drivers insurance company. It has also given the GHOA an opportunity to look at the brick structures of the remaining 7 entry signs so it can be added to our future budget.

In March of 2025 once again one of our entryway signs were vandalized as someone again tried to pry the bronze sign off the brick.
We are currently evaluating replacement options as unfortunately despite the reinforcement the sign was damaged beyond repair. We may move away from Bronze to deter future theft attempts.
