Fence Painting
2012-2015 – Fence painting was a phased project scheduled to be redone every 8-10 years.
2019 – The Grange had a detailed report completed. There is a total of 11,408 linear square feet of exterior developer fence that requires painting.
PLEASE NOTE: it is the homeowners responsibility to maintain and repair their own fence.
2020 – Letters to all properties with exterior developer fences in The Grange were contacted by mail with details of the repairs required to complete prior to painting. If you are wondering if you have an exterior fence that will be painted by the GHOA, please refer to the attached spreadsheet and map.
2021 – Painting of the fences with the GHOA began.
Fences 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 were painted first.
Fence 1, 4, and 5 are not exterior developer fences but the management companies will be contacted to see if they want to have the fence painted at the same time.
2022 – Painting of fences 2, 3, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 28 were completed in the summer of 2022.
Again, the GHOA will only paint fences every 8-10 years.
Upgrades, changes or repairs to your fence after these painting projects will need to be painted by the homeowner. The next painting project will commence around Summer 2030 at the earliest.
To see if your property (condos not included) has an exterior facing fence download “The Grange Properties With Exterior Developer Fences” below. If your address is there your exterior fence will be painted by The Grange. This still means you need to maintain it by painting the inside and replacing rotten posts and boards.
Please note: Fence 1 has been removed from the painting inventory of The Grange as of 2021
